Bashir Al Kaddoumi, MD, FACC, FSCAI, practices cardiovascular medicine with a focus on atherosclerotic vascular disease and intervention throughout the circulation at Sam Houston Heart and Vascular in Houston and Spring, Texas.
Dr. Al Kaddoumi graduated from the University of Jordan, College of Medicine, where he completed his internship in internal medicine. Afterward, he went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. After completing his residency, he then completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Texas HSC Houston in Houston, Texas. He then completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Harper University Hospital, Detroit Medical Center, Michigan.
Dr. Al Kaddoumi is the only interventional cardiologist in the Houston Northwest region to hold eight board certifications. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases, the American Board of Interventional Cardiology, the American Board of Vascular Medicine, the American Board of Endovascular Interventions, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, the National Board of Echocardiography and he is a Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation.
Dr. Al Kaddoumi offers a full complement of diagnostic testing, treatments, and procedures that range from ultrasonography of the veins and arteries through echocardiography, cardiac stress test to catheterization of the heart and blood vessels. During these procedures, he uses the most innovative and minimally invasive approaches, such as cardiac catheterization through radial access (wrist) or endovenous treatment of vein disorders. He performs interventions on the heart and vessels at Memorial Hermann Cypress Care Center, Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital at The Vintage, and Tomball Regional Hospital using state-of-the-art digital cardiac catheterization labs.
